New Year.

Plenty to catch up. It keeps one healthy and wise.

This year started occasionally well. This is the only year that kept me alive for almost the whole month and faintless to say the whole year. Given the chance, I would prefer to relate this year to one of those period of realization where everthing comes to term.

Short Journey.

This is not one of those post that needs attention. If not it wouldn't be titled, Short Journey.

Heated up the motor. Guess it wasn't heated long enough that engaging the gear was a bit of a nuisance. Kept feeding into gear one but it won't work. There was some kind of embarrassment. Traffic was normal but had to keep to gear one occasionally where the problem arise. The vehicle in front was always meters away while there was a struggle to shift to gear one. Had to incur some force while the feeling of frustration and guilt due to the temporarily installment. Fortunately, traffic was pretty much forgiving in a nicer manner. Any other day, there would be hons and cursing.

1 liter engine capacity won't take one far or effectively. Only efficiency. It has been a matter more then a problem solving issue when the government decided to lower the price of petrol. Population crisis at the other end.

Yesterday evening was one of those days where there was nothing much to do with so much sorrows where me decided to take a ride down town. Took the exit from Jalan Tun Razak to Jalan Ampang. Along the stretch there was some stops nearing Ampang Point.

Decided to visit Ampang Hospital. Not that there is anyone to visit there but had to past by to get to the destination that I have not planned. Five kilometers from the hospital, there is a foot of a medium sized mountain. The first few meters up the hill is bare where not too far up there is an exit to a housing area. Further up the hill, right at the peak there is a recreational park called Look Out Point.

Taking a breeze ride up there really stray your worrisome mind away. Especially at night, but be careful as there are many on riders who might just give you a warm welcome at your other end. Just keep left for a slow ride but occasionally the road gets too narrow. Recommended to drive in the morning for safety precautions.

Feeling much better after the journey. Thought of some things while listening to Tenancy Walt music. A better and reliable car would do some miracles.

At Look Out Point, it is situated at the right if you head up by Ampang and it would be on the left if you come from Cheras. There is a huge doom and there is around 5 kilometers of route heading to the rest place where there are a number of restaurants and further to the top, there is a canopy for photographers to enjoy the scenery or to take the cool and refreshing air. I doubt the air is clean but it is much more refreshing then low lands.

Old Town

Ipoh Old Town White Coffee outlet is definitely my inn thing. Especially the brewed black coffee; preferably hot. The white coffee is not much of a difference. A bowl of Curry Mee is just the right combination of a complete meal. I've got to watch on my calorie intake here. My friends say it is a sin to indulge with high calories while it is my custom to enjoy every moment of it. Old Town is not for the faint heart.

Let me put on my glasses. The year of an ox. Some refer this year to a year of a bull, cow and etc. Hopefully not a bear. According to feng shui sifu, this year is a year of the fire ox. Great. I have enough of heat and there goes another wave of high temperature. I am no feng shui master or a guy with a crystal ball. This year would start a little bit sluggish while towards the second half of the year, there would be some improvement in terms of the economy as a whole and also souring profits. Bull run?

The main thing that the whole world is looking and hoping to see and feel improvement is the policies set by the newly elected President of United States of America, Barack Hussien Obama. He is never a leader not at least in the eyes of the world. To keep the ball rolling, Mr. Obama is purely a democrat and to further support my opinion, he is African. Not many would agree with me on the following statements that I have made. Judging by the numerical votes that the people of the United States have voted for Mr. Obama, it is all but nothing without jurisdiction. Terrorism is in fact everywhere. Don't fight it as no one would ever win the war of this genocide. It comes and it attacks like a tumor and when it activates, the damage is far from repairable. I say, embrace it. The TARP proposal would not take any longer until the funds are fully deployed. The real action would only take effect another decade or so. The task of fostering bilateral ties would be slim due to the long overhaul of coldness. It is a challenge and a uphill task for Mr. President to look and solve. Welcome aboard Mr. President.

Time and time again everyone seeks for perfection and improvement. Let's say, those two words comes with a price which is hard work and dedication. Resolutions are always swept under the carpet. 99.99% of the time it fails and to no prevail. Never to write again. Go unarmed would be the key ingredient.

Back home in Southeast Asia, nothing much really happened in Malaya except for the victory of Pas during the by-election at Kuala Terengganu where BN had their heels knocked by a couple of votes and the implementation of sit belts with a hefty fine of RM 300 or jail for 10 years. The economy in Malaysia is like bowling soft-boiled eggs. Uncertain but pretty much stable with the Ringgit now not pegged to the US dollar. If the U.S dollar were to fall any further, the ringgit will follow suit while we still gain in terms of imports but it would be horrendous exporting our oil there.

Pretty much a dog chase cat situation here at my own backyard. Plenty to think about. It has been a doggy moment entirely because of the raw experience. The idea of jack of all trades don't seem to work while getting the hang of the local taste and way of living has given me the chance to terminate the word boring.
